Why off-site washing cleans rugs better
A rug can hold several times its weight in fine dust and grit, much of it at the base of the pile and on the back, where on-site machines can’t reach. Off-site, the rug is dusted first to shake out grit, then washed through, rinsed until the water runs clear and dried evenly. It’s the most thorough way to deal with pet accidents, food spills, mould smells and allergens.

How long does off-site rug cleaning take?
Usually a few days including drying, which depends on thickness and weather. We’ll confirm the timing with your quote.
Can you remove pet urine from a rug?
Yes, in most cases. Off-site washing is the most effective way, because urine soaks through to the backing. See urine and odour removal.
Will my rug shrink or bleed colour?
We test for colourfastness and choose the method by fibre first. Wool and natural fibres get low-temperature, fibre-safe cleaning.
